OLYMPIA ZOGRAFOU

Οlympia Zografou was born in Athens. She graduated from Art & Design College of Athens in 1988. She has studied free drawing, residential design, and structural design. She has collaborated with architectural offices in Athens on a great number of projects. She is also familiar with the building permit process. As a great admirer of the unique Cycladic architecture, she has participated in several projects for residential constructions in collaboration with architects in Tinos Island. She lives and works in Athens.

GIORGOS MAVROGIANNIS

Giorgos Mavrogiannis is in his final year of studies at the Department of Architecture of the National Technical University of Athens and for the year 2021-2022 he studied through the erasmus program at the Technische Universität Berlin. During his studies he participated in many workshops in Greece and abroad, with topics such as the restoration of traditional masonry, the construction of Pavillion from recycled materials and set design. In March 2022 he was selected to represent TU Berlin in the workshop "Winterschule: Die identitätsstiftend Region" held at the Bauhaus school in Weimar, Germany, which was about the analysis and study of the identity of the Berlstedt region.His thesis is about the reuse of abandoned airports and deals mainly with the issue of the integration of such a particular type of urban void and urban memory back into the city mechanism.

ELEANA XYDA

She was born in Athens, Greece, at 1976 and studied Architecture at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) during the years 1995-2002. She graduated with a grade of 8/10. Eleana also got her Postgraduate Diploma in “Architectural Design-Space-Culture” program of National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). She is a member of Technical Chamber of Greece since 2002, and member of SADAS-PEA (Hellenic Union of Architects). From December, 2013 she has the authority to perform Energy Inspection in private buildings. During her previous professional activity, Eleana collaborated with Architectural and Constructional firms in Athens, where she had the opportunity to work with talented Architects in a variety of architectural and design fields. In parallel she has completed several cases of private houses, offices, stores and hotels.

VANIA AGGELOPOULOU

Vania Angelopoulou was born and lives in Athens. She graduated from the Department of Architectural Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens in 2007, having already many years of professional experience. She has collaborated with technical companies and acknowledged architectural offices and has participated in the design of projects of different scales, residences, hotels, offices and restaurants, in direct collaboration also with foreign offices. Since 2016 she has also been actively involved in the field of construction, giving special emphasis to the configuration of construction details, with the aim of highlighting the architectural synthetic idea.

SPYRIDON MELLOS

He was born in 1966 and he is a Graduate Architect Engineer N.T.U.A. also a holder of C Class Greek Charters. He has accomplished three decades of successful and creative collaboration with respectable Architectural bureaus and construction firms in Athens Greece. During this period, he participated in numerous studies of large public and private Projects, with subjects ranging from the design of new buildings, the restoration of existing buildings and the landscaping to the supervision or management of construction sites and the provision of consulting services. He has collaborated in the construction design for some of the largest public hospitals in Greece.

IOANNIS DANIIL

Γεννήθηκε στην Αθήνα το 1975. Είναι Διπλωματούχος Πολιτικός Μηχανικός πολυτεχνικής σχολής του Δημοκρίτειου Πανεπιστήμιου Θράκης από το 1999 και Ενεργειακός επιθεωρητής Γ’ Τάξης Έχει διατελέσει ως εργοταξιάρχης μηχανικός σε επιβλέψεις κτιριακών έργων. Έχει επιβλέψει εργασίες ενεργειακής αναβάθμισης κτιρίων. Έχει πολυετή εμπειρία στη σύνταξη προϋπολογισμών και προμετρήσεων. Έχει εμπειρία στον τομέα οργάνωσης και επίβλεψης σε ανακαινίσεις καταστημάτων, οικιών, διαμερισμάτων καθώς και σε εκπονήσεις ενεργειακών επιθεωρήσεων και προτάσεων ενεργειακής αναβάθμισης κτιρίων.

MARIA STERGIOU

Maria Stergiou was born and raised in Athens and then lived in Turin where she completed her studies at the Polytechnic of Turin. In 2015, after completing his Master's degree in "Construction and the City" ("Costruzione e Città"), she returned to Athens where she worked with many recognized architectural firms, specializing in the study and construction of private residences, hotels, offices, restaurants and retail shops participating in all stages of the project, from design to its construction. At the same time, she has participated in competitions with great success.

THEODORA HAIKALI

Theodora Chaikali lives in Athens where she was born. She graduated in 2017 from the School of Architecture, National Technical University of Athens having already worked as trainee architect at Attiko Metro S.A. and at an Architectural firm in Athens. She has attended numerous seminars on architecture focusing on interior design and she attended historical monuments photography workshops, participating in related competitions. From 2017 to date she has worked in various architecture firms in Athens focusing on small scale buildings in Athens, Mykonos and Kea.

PANAGIOTIS HONDROS

Panagiotis Chondros graduated from the Department of Architectural Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens. During his studies he participated in Panhellenic architecture competitions and was awarded in 5 of them. In 2018 he worked in an architecture office in Athens, while his thesis project was awarded in 2020 by the e-magazine GRAD Review.

MANDO PERAKI

Mando Peraki was born and raised in Chania. She graduated from the Department of Architectural Engineering of the Democritus University of Thrace. During her studies she received two state scholarships for aiding and supporting diligent students. (I.K.Y.). During 2020 - 2021 she worked in a technical office in Athens, where she was involved in the design of small-scale projects. She has been involved in the design and permit procedures of residential projects, interior design - renovation of residence and business premises.

IRO MASTORAKI

Iro Mastoraki was born and raised in Chania, Crete. She studied at the School of Architecture of the National Technical University of Athens. During her studies, she participated in exhibitions and workshops, while in 2016, she studied at the School of Architecture of the Universidade Fernando Pessoa, Porto. After her studies, she worked on many small and large scale projects. In 2019, she participated in the Scenography and Costume Workshops of the National Theater.

In 2015 he participated in the he scenography exhibition of Prague Quadrennial 2015, organised by the National Technical University of Athens and, finaly, in 2016 he took part in the exhibition "Saturating strategies for Nicosia’s buffer zone" in cooperation with the House of Cyprus, organised by Cypriot Embassy's Educational Office. After graduating, he worked at an architectural office in Piraeus with his main occupation the interior design.

XENIA SOTIROPOULOU

She graduated from the Department of Architecture of the National Technical University of Athens. Followingly she studied at the postgraduate program “Architectural Design-Space-Culture” of NTUA. During her studies, she edited articles in an architectural e-magazine, while she participated as a researcher in a postdoctoral dissertation of NTUA. She worked in a technical office in Athens and in an architectural office in Cyprus, where she was involved in the design and construction of residential projects and larger scale projects.

ANASTASIA SKOPA

Anastasia Skopa graduated from the Department of Architectural Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens, while in 2019, she studied at the School of Architecture of Instituto Universitario de Lisboa. During her studies, she participated in inter-university workshops and seminars in Greece and abroad such us the analysis and restoration of historical building, design and construction of furniture and small-scale constructions and also the combination of digital design, manufacturing and technologies with architecture. After her studies, she worked on many small and large scale projects.

KONSTANTINA HAMATZOGLOU

Konstantina Chamatzoglou graduated from the Department of Architecture of the National Technical University of Athens. In 2015 she attended a semester in ENSA Paris Val-de-Seine. During her studies she participated in many workshops in Greece and abroad. In 2016 she participated in the exhibition ‘Lucien Hervé: The summertime of Monsieur Le Corbusier’ , at Benaki Museum. In 2017 she took part in the exhibition ‘Mapping the Landscape: Natural and Cultural qualities’ in the 7th Interuniversity Seminar at Syros. In 2019 her diploma thesis titled ''Centre of thermalism and phytotherapy in Hippocrates' garden'' was awarded by the Technical Champer of Greece(TCG).Since 2019 she has been involved in the design of several residential projects, hotels,restaurants and small scale architectural projects.

DIMITRA GRAVANI

She was born and raised in Larissa. She graduated from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. After completing her studies, she worked as an Engineer for the National Land Registry, and in particular she specialized in the land registration of the Almyros area, in Thessaly, gaining knowledge on the property registrational system in the Greek area. Afterwards, she worked in an architectural office in the city of Larissa, with a special emphasis on architectural composition, but also the study of the interior design regarding of spaces like cafes and commercial buildings, residences, clinics and hotels. She has participated in various voluntary actions that promote architecture, such as Open House Thessaloniki and the Thessaloniki Biennale of Young Architects. In addition, she was a member of the design team in the Akalyptos SKG Workshop, which participated in the Greek pavilion of Biennale of Architecture in Venice. In the present, she lives, works and experiences the city of Athens.

RANIA KOUNTOURIOTI

Rania Kountourioti was born and raised in Athens. She graduated from the School of Architecture of the National Technical University of Athens in 2021. During her studies she participated in architectural voluntary actions aiming the promotion of architecture to the public. In her dissertation thesis “Narrative as a compositional instrument” due to her interest in the 7thη art, she studied the connection between architecture and cinema. Her diploma thesis “Submerged Life: Marine Research Center in Alonnisos” , highlighted the significance of interdisciplinary research and environmental ethics. Both of the thesis have been published in architectural sites.

RENOS PALAPANIS

Renos Palapanis graduated from the Department of Architectural Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens. During his studies he received distinctions in student competitions, and at the same time participated in inter-university workshops in Greece and abroad. From 2018 to 2020 he worked in an architecture office in Athens, where he was involved in the design of small and medium-scale projects. In 2019 he won the Renzo Piano World Tour Award, and with other 5 European Architects, traveled around the world to visit and study significant architectural works.

DESPOINA DIMA

Despina Dima was raised in Argos and graduated from the Department of Architecture at the University of Patras. She studied a semester in TU Wien with the Erasmus+ Program, and she did an internship in an architectural office in Vienna, Austria. After completing her studies, she gained experience in an architecture office in Nafplio. Currently, she resides and works in Athens.

TSABIKOS TEXNITIS

Tsampikos graduated from the School of Architecture of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki with honors. During his studies he participated in architecture competitions and in a participatory design workshop with kids from a Primary School in Thessaloniki. In 2019 he took an internship in an architectural office in Barcelona through the Erasmus program and afterwards he worked in Rhodes, participating in works of different scale. Now, he attends the Interdepartmental Master’s Degree Program in NTUA «Research in Architecture: Design-Space-Culture» with specialization on Theory of Knowledge of Architecture.

MARINA FOKA

Foka Marina was born in 1997 in Athens. She graduated from the School of Civil Engineering of the University of Patras (2021). Since 2021 she has been working in design & construction offices in Athens, specializing in the design and construction of residences, tourist accommodations and restaurants. In addition, she has a high knowledge of building permit procedures & building regulations.

ZOE PAPADIMITRIOU

Zoe Papadimitriou from an early age showed a special inclination towards painting and sketching, winning first and second prizes in 2 painting competitions. She graduated from the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Patras in 2020 with Honours. In 2021 he started working in a well-known architectural office in Athens, focusing on design and application design. At the same time, he attended the Interdisciplinary Postgraduate Program of the National Kapodistrian University of Athens entitled: "Monument Management: archaeology, city, architecture". Within the framework of this program, he participated as a team coordinator in an exhibition of the Byzantine Museum about Smyrna. During the same period she attended in person for a semester at the University of Saragossa, for a postgraduate course on the restoration of Historical Sites at the scale of the city.

GEORGIA LEMA

Georgia Lema was born and raised in Kavala. She graduated from the Department of Architectural Engineering of the Democritus University of Thrace. From 2021 to 2023 she worked in an architecture office in Kavala, where she was involved in the design and construction of small and medium-scale projects, including commercial and residential spaces. She has participated in various voluntary actions that promote architecture, such as Open House Thessaloniki. She lives and works in Athens.

TANIA ALEXOPOULOU

Born and raised in Crete, she moved from Crete to study Architecture Engineering in Patras, which was followed by an internship in Amsterdam and Berlin and an MA in Branding, Communication and Cultures in Goldsmiths College, University of London. As a professional, she has collaborated with some of the most renowned architectural practices and companies in Crete and Santorini, working on a wide range of projects with an emphasis in luxury hotels, residencies and workspaces. She has an extensive experience in architectural synthesis and interior design and construction and has also participated in competitions and workshops, both in Greece and abroad. During the 2010 – 2012 period, she acted as a course leader, teaching at the department of interior architecture at MBS College of Crete. Beyond architecture, she has worked in the fields of branding and communications in different contexts. Nowadays, as a resident of Athens, she has found herself making an old dream come true; designing and crafting hand-made shoes. She loves to always discover new paths – physically and mentally.

LEDA LIOUPI

Leda is a Greek-Swiss architect engineer based in Athens. She graduated from AUTH in 2016. During her studies the project A handmade school for Ghana was distinguished in the International Architecture competition and was built in 2017 (in collaboration with Panagiota Stergiopoulou). Her professional experience includes work in conservation and restoration studies of monuments and artworks in Greece and abroad as well as in research, design and construction management of small- and large-scale projects in the corporate and social/humanitarian sectors in Greece, New Mexico, Ghana, Nigeria. She gained valuable experience through the organization, management and supervision of construction projects from the feasibility study to the implementation phase, while focusing on sustainable and bioclimatic solutions and adaptation to climate change. She has directed her own projects and construction workshops having received funding from Foundations and European programs.

ERMINA MORAITI

She completed her studies at the Department of Architecture of the Technical University of Crete. At the same time, she worked in an architectural office of the city while participating in artistic actions prepared by her School, with the aim of culturally highlighting public spaces. The interest in the remodeling of public buildings becomes more intense, with her focusing on the restoration of the abandoned buildings of Metaxourgeio in Athens, but also on the reuse of a building complex in Chania, through her research and diplomatic work respectively. Now he works in Athens with the theme of small and large-scale projects, with an emphasis on construction details. Her love for free drawing and photography continues to this day.

PAVLOS PAVLIDIS

Pavlos Pavlidis is a graduate of the Department of Interior Architecture of the University of Western Attica. During his studies he dealt with various aspects of design beyond the architecture of spaces such as landscape architecture and industrial design. He did his internship through the Erasmus program in an architectural office in Hamburg, Germany, where he continued to collaborate beyond that. Returning to Athens, he collaborated with architectural offices where he participated in all phases of project studies. He has been involved in the design of commercial, educational, cultural, office buildings as well as hospitality, health and residential spaces.

KONSTANTINOS GIOTSALITIS

Konstantinos Giotsalitis was born in Athens in 1987. He graduated from the Department of Architecture of the National Technical University of Athens. During his studies and professional career, he was particularly interested in research of social housing. Simultaneously, his love for painting prompted him to engage in the study of the human figure, shaping his perception of architectural composition, from the early stages of the conception of the idea to its final articulation in space. He continued his personal involvement with painting in workshops of engraving and byzantine painting, holding his first solo exhibition in 2022. He lives and works in Athens.

ELENI TSAPRALI

Eleni graduated from the Departure of Architecture of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki with honors. During the last semester of her studies, she worked as an intern in an architectural office in Athens, participating in the design and construction of various residential projects. Then, alongside her professional career, appreciating significantly the role of technology in design, she attended the graduate program of the University of Piraeus "Digital Culture, Smart Cities, IoT and Advanced Digital Technologies", which she completed with honors. At the same time, she attended Interior Design and Project Management seminars, wanting to have a comprehensive view of the design process and the effective project management. Since 2018, she has worked in companies specializing in the study and construction of luxury residences, hotels, and retail stores, participating in all stages of the project, from design to implementation.

ATHENA GEORGIADI

 

Athena Georgiadi was born and raised in Athens. She graduated from Architecture School of National Technical University of Athens in 2022. She studied a semester in Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Architecture de Nantes with Erasmus+ Programme. After the graduation she lived in Berlin for a year in order to work as an intern in an architectural bureau where she dealt with a wide range of the architectural research and process.

THOMAIS ZORBA

 

Thomais Zormpa was born and lives in Athens. She studied at the School of Architecture of the National Technical University of Athens. During her studies, she participated in workshops and lectures on topics related to the exploration of the urban fabric and its mapping methods. At the same time, her interest in contacting and communicating with children led to the development of an experiment involving an elementary school in Athens, which was also the subject of her research work. The research resulted in her participation in the visual exhibition entitled "Our neighborhoods, approaching the same space through four dialogues", which was organized by the Historical Archive of the National Bank of Greece. She participated as a speaker at the "play_public" (2016) conference on "the 35 Cities of the Students”. He has been active in the construction field with residential studies.

EUTUXIA GIANNOPOULOU

 

Starting point of the adventure, and topos of birth, Athens. She studied Architecture in New York Institute of Technology (NYIT) in New York. During professional development, she has worked and has been a vital member of design teams in numerous projects covering the entire range of the design of renovations, private residences, of public character and residential complexes. She has extensive experience throughout the whole design development starting from the initial idea, Permit and Construction Documentations up to the final Detailed Construction and Supervision. She focuses on the people-inhabitants who occupy the space of each project during the design process, as she believes in the power of Architecture in shaping and affecting people’s lives.

ADRIANI BASTOUNI

 

Adriani Bastouni is an Architect-Engineer (graduate of the National Technical University of Athens, member of the Technical Chamber of Greece since 2008) with extensive experience in design, construction, project management and multidisciplinary design coordination. Having worked on various complex, prestigious projects and schemes at a national and international level, enables her to deliver challenging projects effectively and to the highest standards.

Furthermore, Adriani has attained a master's degree in Cities and Mobility with a specialisation on Transports and Mobility from École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées and Institut d’Urbanisme de Paris and a postraduate diploma in 3D Character Animation from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design.

  

VARVARA KOURTI

 

Barbara Kourti has an architecture degree from the University of Patras. During the academic year of 2015-16 she studied one semester in the University of Coimbra in Portugal. In 2018 her diploma thesis participated in the Venice Biennale Sessions "Emerging Resilience". After her studies she designed various residential and hospitality projects.

ANASTASIA NIKOLOPOULOU

 

Η Αναστασία Νικολοπούλου αποφοίτησε από το τμήμα αρχιτεκτόνων μηχανικών του Εθνικού Μετσόβιου Πολυτεχνείου. Φοίτησε για ένα εξάμηνο (2015) στην École nationale supérieure d’architecture et de paysage de Bordeaux, όπου και εργάστηκε σε αρχιτεκτονικό γραφείο. Η διπλωματική της εργασία με αντικείμενο μελέτης το παραλιακό μέτωπο του Λαυρίου, επιλέχθηκε ως μία από τις 13 συμμετοχές για το ελληνικό περίπτερο στο παγκόσμιο συνέδριο αρχιτεκτονικής στη Σεούλ το Σεπτέμβριο 2017. Έχει συμμετάσχει στο σχεδιασμό κατοικιών διαφορετικής κλίμακας καθώς και ξενοδοχείων.

NIKOS ROSSIS

Ο Νίκος Ρώσσης γεννήθηκε το 1979 στην Αθήνα. Είναι απόφοιτος της σχολής πολιτικών μηχανικών του ΕΜΠ (2003) και της σχολής αρχιτεκτόνων μηχανικών του ΕΜΠ (2020). Από το 2003 εργάζεται σε μελέτες κτιριακών έργων, ενώ έχει συμμετάσχει σε ένα σημαντικό πλήθος αρχιτεκτονικών διαγωνισμών τόσο ως σύμβουλος επί στατικών θεμάτων, όσο και ως μέλος των αρχιτεκτονικών ομάδων. Κατά την περίοδο 2005-2011 προσέφερε επικουρικό διδακτικό έργο στα προπτυχιακά μαθήματα της Δομικής Μηχανικής στη σχολή αρχιτεκτόνων του ΕΜΠ. Έχει ιδιαίτερο ενδιαφέρον για την αρχιτεκτονική της κατοίκησης, πεδίο που αποτέλεσε και το αντικείμενο της αρχιτεκτονικής διπλωματικής του εργασίας, εστιάζοντας στη μαζική αστική κατοίκηση και τη σχέση του κτιρίου με τον κάτοικο και την πόλη.

DIMITRA KORKIDAKI

Dimitra Korkidaki was born and raised in Chania, Crete. She studied at the School of Architecture of the National Technical University of Athens, where she graduated with honors. After her studies, she collaborated with important architectural offices in Athens, where she contributed to the planning of many small and large scale projects, including housing, hospitality or public services. Now, she attends the Interdepartmental Master’s Degree Program in NTUA «Research in Architecture: Design-Space-Culture» with specialization on Advanced Issues of Architectural Design, where she conducts her research on the tourist landscapes of the Mediterranean.

ANTONIS GAVALAS

Born in Athens in 1979. Studied with distinction architecture in the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (1997-2002). Full scholarship by “Lilian Voudouri Foundation” for MA in Environment & Energy Post-graduate studies in the Architectural Association, School of Architecture in London (2002-2003). He worked as an architect and environmental consultant at Hamilton Associates (now Grid Architects & Apt) in London (2003-2005), occupied mainly with private residential, office and residential planning projects. He has presented his work on various international conferences in Greece and Great Britain and architectural competitions. Collaborates as an external jury member with the Center of Renewable Energy Sources on public sector bioclimatic proposals assessment. He teaches Sustainable Architecture at the 4th year's students at Patras University Faculty of Architecture. He is a scientific articles author at Building Green Magazine.
